Business Improvement Grant

The Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce will offer matching grants for business improvements made to members in good standing of the Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce. Members in good standing have a current membership as of 1/1/26.

Our areas of focus include: People, Place, Promotion, and Product.

OACC will offer matching grants to cover up to 50 percent of the total cost of the improvement project, with a maximum grant amount of $2,500.

Any member in good standing of the Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce. This includes non profit and not for profit members, store front and home based businesses. The member must have renewed or joined and their membership is current by 1/1/26. You can complete the BIG Grant application now and pay your membership before 1/1/26. Applications will not be reviewed until after January 1, 2026.

People - Investing in People
Education, Training, Courses
Examples: Quickbooks class, Leadership Training, etc.

Place - Improvement to your place of business
Exterior and Interior Improvements
Examples: Paint, Awnings, Signage, Lighting, Landscape, Furniture, etc.

Promotion - Aid in marketing of your business
Specialist in Promotion
Examples: Wrap Vehicle, Social Media Expert, Graphic Designer, etc.

Product - Upgrading the products that make your business work more efficiently
Hardware, Software, Connectivity
Examples: Upgraded Computer, Copier, Point of Sale, Security System, Software, etc.

Applicants must submit:

• The Two-Page Application
• Description of item, service or work to be completed including photographs.
• Pricing/Estimate

Applications will be reviewed mid-January 2026 by the review committee.
