Does Oxford Little League have a mascot?

Yes, a dog named Ollie. He is quite a hoot.  Be sure to come up to him when you see him out and about.  He LOVES getting his photo taken!!  

Is Little League just baseball?

No, We offer Softball as well for ages 6 – 16.  Between Winter Clinics, the Spring Season and Fall Ball, we keep our players busy and engaged.

Don’t let cost stop you from registering, the T-Mobile Little League Call up Grant is dedicated to helping families in need by covering registration fees associated with the local their Little League program. Where is Oxford Little League’s home field?

Our home field is Tipton Field, located at 181 Mt. Pleasant Road. We have 3 fields, including one that has lights!  

Tell me about your new Junior Umpire Program?

This program is for kids ages 14-18, it is designed to give older kids an opportunity to give back to the younger kids in our community. For every game they umpire, a Junior Umpire can count the time toward volunteer hours or choose to receive a gift card. We will provide classes to teach them how to umpire and what to do in certain situations throughout a game. It’s a great opportunity to help out the league and have fun! Can I attend the board meetings?

Of course, our board meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month in the Penns Grove Cafeteria at 7PM.

Did you know, many of our coaches played for Oxford Little League when they were younger?  

That shows the great memories and dedication these coaches have to not only the sport of baseball/softball, but also the friendship and memories created.  It is just another example of small town living in which parents are giving back to the programs that they benefitted from!

 April 23, we have a lot of fun things planned so be sure to check on our Social media pages and website for the latest update.  We are looking for a terrific year instructing children in the sport of baseball and softball and the life lessons that go with playing a team sport.  We love the friendships forged on the field and in the stands.  Cue music “Put me in Coach, I’m ready to play….”
